The Isle of Wight’s largest wildlife park, the Seaview Wildlife Encounter, is one of the most popular attractions on the island. This family-friendly animal attraction has all sorts of things to do, and regular events including a daily chance to meet the park wallabies, and a chance to feed the penguins.

Asian Shortclaw Otters at Seaview Wildlife Encounter

The park’s open daily during the summer months, and popular with all kinds of people. For the romantics, ‘date packages’ offer a chance to get up close to the animals before enjoying a champagne lunch – a sure way to impress that special someone – whilst kids will love the opportunity to be a keeper for a day.

If you’re looking for an enjoyable way to reach the island if you’re not staying in Isle of Wight B&B, consider the Hovertravel service between Southsea and Ryde. The trip takes less than ten minutes, and you’ll then get to enjoy a seafront walk of approximately two miles to the wildlife encounter. Otherwise, book an Isle of Wight accommodation near Seaview, and enjoy easy access to this great attraction.
