The Hythe Ferry

For a trip from Hythe to Southampton, why not try out the Hythe Ferry, rather than driving? A drive between the two takes approximately half an hour, but by boat you can reach your destination in half the time.  You’ll get the chance to see some of the world’s most impressive ocean liners, including the Queen Mary 2, the Victoria, and the Disney Cruise Liners, as well as the opportunity to see the world’s oldest pier train.

The ferry departs every half hour, and offers an easy way to get to Southampton’s best attractions if you’d prefer to stay in the peaceful waterside shopping village of Hythe. Accommodation options on both sides of the river are plentiful, though a stay in Hythe offers a little more peace and quiet without asking you to sacrifice convenience. Book your holiday today, and enjoy a leisurely trip on the Hythe Ferry.
