Isle of Wight Festival

This summer, book a holiday on the Isle of Wight and head to the famous Isle of Wight Festival. Running from the 10th-12th of June, you need to book your ferry NOW if you haven’t already. There are also coach and train services. There’s a bike hire scheme which is a super green way to enjoy the festival. The phenomenal line-up includes Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs, the Foo Fighters, Pulp, Mike and the Mechanics, Kasabian, Beady Eye, Pixie Lott, Jeff Beck and so much more!

Winchester Festival

This July festival is privileged to have Dame Judi Dench as Festival President – although she will not be able to attend this year. The festival of the arts includes artwork from GCSE students, a Chinese artist who cites Monet as his greatest inspiration, and a belated celebration of International Women’s Day. There are guided walks around the city of Winchester and celebrations of Jane Austen.

Wickham Festival

This family friendly festival, which incorporates the Stokes Bay Festival, is a music festival featuring such greats as Jools Holland, John Otway, Rolf Harris and Toyah Wilcox. The village of Wickham is absolutely charming. If you don’t fancy camping, check out some accommodation near Wickham.

Hampshire Food Festival

Get ready to feast at this month long celebration of Hampshire food, starting in July. Including 90 separate events, there are farm open days, tours of breweries, vineyards and orchards, demos, cooking classes and workshops.

Winchester Film Festival

This festival will be showing great films in unique locations, including I Confess, Witness, Nosferatu, the Evil Dead and more. All proceeds from the festival this year will be donated to Winchester Nightshelter.

Whitchurch Festival

This festival celebrates the town of Whitchurch, with a Carnival & Fete, Mayday celebration in the Millennium Meadow, pub races and fireworks.  This is a voluntary festival, with a great community spirit.

Basingstoke Live Festival

This free 2 day festival includes music, dance and the arts with a diverse programme including an exciting fringe festival. Last year’s headliners were Scratch Perverts. This year’s festival will be 9-10th July.

Hampshire Water Festival

This summer festival celebrates Hampshire’s aquatic riches. As well as live music, there is Pirate Cabaret, Professor H2O, angling and tai chi, facepainting, a circus workshop, Aqua Zorbing and plenty of kids’ activities.

Petersfield Musical Festival

This 8 day celebration of music making has a local focus and a policy of supporting young performers. The festival is sponsored by the Michael Hurd Memorial Fund.

Silchester Music Festival

Silchester Music Festival is a platform for young talent, with a special acoustic section. This non profit event covers expenses with bar and food takings, with any surplus donated to charity.
